Eight lives with an American Dream were lost inside a Dodge pickup truck that was loaded with immigrants in Del Rio Texas.

They were killed when it collided with another pickup truck following a police chase near the Texas border city of Del Rio, in Val Verde county.

The crash occurred on U.S. Highway 277 a road I frequently traveled to get to work and return to my rented ranch near the shores of Lake Amistad, while I was building KTRG Television from the banks of The Rio Grande.

On May 25, less than a year ago, 46-year-old George Floyd was stopped by police after a local Minneapolis shop employee claimed he had tried to pass a counterfeit $20 bill. The Minnesota athlete had been a talented young American football player but drifted into a life of petty crime and addiction to painkillers.

After listening to free-flowing #CPAC Oral diarrhea more Americans are asking to be inoculated for the Trump virus. #TrumpVirus

More than one-half million have died in the USA since Trump lied and continue to spread misinformation about the deadly Pandemic. Does he have any shame, integrity, morals, decency or respect for American lives? CPAC was a super-spreader event with the exponential contagious infections from attendees flying or driving back to their cities and states, and most likely exposing more folks to a dangerous variant of the virus.

Trump Lost Once Again

Donald Trump’s tax records are now in the hands of the New York district attorney. Prosecutors obtained the “millions of pages of documents” on Monday, just hours after the Supreme Court denied Trump's last-ditch effort to keep the records private.

Bonnie and Clyde were an unstoppable team. The ragtag bank robber duo were inspiring legends everywhere they went.

Bonnie Elizabeth Parker and Clyde Champion Barrow were lovers who traveled the Central United States with their gang during the Great Depression. They were known for their bank robberies, although they also robbed small stores and rural businesses.

This image of their romantic embrace makes it clear why so many people were attracted to their story. Even if they were hardened criminals, you wanted to root for their passion.

SCOTUS TRAPS TRUMP

This is a significant defeat for Trump, and we have the US Supreme Court to thank after declining to halt the turnover of his tax records in a New York state prosecution.

SCOTUS action is the culmination of a lengthy legal battle that had reached the high court once before. This second time puts his taxes on the firing line.

This one is a one two punch and a hard blow because he had fought on so many fronts to keep his tax records shielded from view. The ongoing investigation the records are part of what could also be an issue for Trump in his after life.

Half Time

There are explanations why Trump is sitting at home on his gold toilet while his lawyers speak for him, instead of personally testifying.

He is not participating in his own Senate trial because he may end up on a criminal trial and is scared of showing up and saying anything at his impeachment trial that can be used to convict him.

Defending Indefensible Acts

How can a worthwhile defense attorney mount a case to defend a person whose acts are indefensible and insists on nonexistent data?

Then to add insult to injury, he reportedly refuses to pay his last legal bills placing future fees in serious doubt. Trump’s top lawyers abandoned him because most American voters feel what he did can not be defended, excused or justified.

GOP Seditionists

Sedition is overt conduct that tends towards the rebellion against the American government. It includes subversion of the US Constitution and incitement of discontent toward, or rebellion against, established authority.

How can We The People expect these seditionists to convict Lame Duck Donald if some of the members of the Senate jury were members of the criminal act?

Cult 45 Conspirators?

Is there a Trump treason troupe that has now spread to 45 members of the Senate and over twice as many US Congress members?

Senators were sworn in as jurors in former President Trump’s impeachment trial, and then Republicans forced a vote on the constitutionality of the process.
