SONY Cancells N. Korean Film Preview

The New York City premiere of Sony's spoof comedy film The Interview has now officially been cancelled.

The Interview is a comedy about the assassination of North Korea's president, but it has has been cancelled amid threats from hackers.

Major US movie theater chains are delaying plans to show Sony Pictures' North Korea parody "The Interview" after threats made on cinemas showing the major motion picture by a hacking group that waged a cyberattack on the Hollywood studio.

US Congress on tonight extended tax breaks for 2014. It took senators until now to pass the bill, which the House had already approved. The bill will now be sent to President Obama, who's expected to sign.

Deduction for teachers' expenses: This allows school teachers deduct up to $250 for the costs of classroom supplies they buy with their own money. It's available to all teachers, whether they itemize or not.

Taliban Kill Dozens in Pakistan

Police officials in Pakistani say explosions at a High School, which was attacked by Taliban has caused the deaths of nearly one hundred.

Approximately 84 students were killed when Taliban gunmen stormed a military-run school in the city of Peshawar, taking hundreds of students and teachers hostage in the bloodiest insurgent attack in years. Armed troops surrounded the building in as attempt to rescue the remaining students.

US House and Senate Doctor

The doctor is making official House calls and also the US Senate. Senators narrowly confirmed President Obama's Surgeon General, who is a Harvard Medical School staffer after fierce opposition from NRA and gun-rights advocates in Congress.

The 36-year-old co-founded Doctors for America in May 2009, just as the fight over the Affordable Care Act was gearing up. The country's main doctor trade group, the American Medical Association, remained neutral on the Affordable Care Act. In founding Doctors for America, Dr. V Murthy entered the spotlight when he supported Obamacare.

Dangers of Not Enough Sleep

US workers sacrifice sleep for work, for commuting, socializing and the practice is deadly.

A new study shows that paid work time is the primary waking activity exchanged for sleep and suggests that chronic sleep loss potentially could be prevented by strategies that make work start times more flexible.

Not enough sleep affects the ability of U.S. adults to carry out daily activities. The National Sleep Foundation suggests that adults need 7--9 hours of sleep per night; shorter and longer sleep durations have been associated with increased morbidity and mortality.
