Government For We The People

Submitted by ub on

Our president, The US House, and The Senate, including all public servants, must constantly be reminded that they work for us and we should tell them each and every day if they wish to stay, or else go away!

The issue should never be what is best for me, but it must always be what is best for We The People. The American taxpayers who pay your salaries and all the benefits you are enjoying.

White House Racism?

Submitted by ub on

Donald Trump Jr., the president’s eldest son, shared another person’s tweet during the Democratic debate this week that falsely claimed Senator Kamala Harris was not black enough to be discussing the plight of black Americans. He later deleted it.

Putin’s Russia is also apparently still at it, and bots were highly activated this weekend following @TheDemocrats debates. They are now attacking Kamala Harris. Will #Congress hold an impeachment inquiry, and clean up the mess, or will these actions become increasingly sophisticated for the 2020 VOTE?.

Not Fun and Games

Whether the President seriously warns Putin against interference in our next election is never a private matter between Trump and Putin. This is of utmost national security imperative and critical to deterring further #Russia meddling.
This is undoubtedly and without question, the business of the American people.

POTUS shares a chuckle with a despot who kills. Journalists are not the enemy of the people - We Are The People. Those who would seek to silence the free press are tyrants.

Preposterous POTUS

Submitted by ub on

Has he become a national security threat for stating he would accept foreign intelligence on his political opponents? Is it Democratic?

The President swears to defend the US Constitution but now appears to be welcoming foreign interference in our democratic elections. Is he announcing his scorn for his solemn oath to preserve, protect and defend The United States of America?

POTUS tells ABC News that he has no problem accepting opposition research on any political opponent from any nation regardless that is being provided to him by a foreign power country.

US Constitutional Crisis

The #USA has been slowly approaching a Constitutional crisis and following The US House Judiciary committee holding Attorney General Bill Barr in contempt, the federal government has entered a new phase.

Wannabe dictators become intoxicated by the desire for power and when they start losing, they become increasingly desperate.
President Donald Trump is forcing a showdown with Congress which now ends with the beginning of a Constitutional crisis.

A Real American Hero

Submitted by ub on

Robert Mueller is a real American Hero who has served our great nation in war as well as in peace and without any reservation, for probes associated with #TumpRussia lying, cheating and embracing the enemies of the United States of America.

Robert Swan Mueller III is not only an American Hero but an attorney and current Special Counsel of the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 United States elections and related matters. Mueller served as the sixth director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, from 2001 to 2013, according to Wikipedia.

GOP Election Fraud

Submitted by ub on

In North Carolina and at the end, after everything was said and done, wasn’t the Republicans who were left holding the smoking gun?

The GOP has claimed that our democracy is menaced by election fraud. It has been their excuse for voter suppression tactics, their rationalization for election defeats, and a central element of a Big Conspiracy Theory alleging that Democrats want open borders so they can drown good white taxpaying citizens in a sea of illegal voting by immigrants and other minorities seeking to give themselves welfare benefits.

UNITY Seriously?

Submitted by ub on

POTUS is expected to call for unity in his attempt at reset after two years of partisanship deep divide and personal attacks. #SOTU will come with a large serving of partisan divide which could lead to another government shutdown or to an emergency declaration over the #Mexico border, but what about the #Canada northern border? Politically wounded from his federal shutdown, #Trump may face an uphill battle with his agenda.

Will Americans, or the rest of the world buy this White House attempt at turning a new leaf? We’ll have to wait and see, Mr. T.

Reflecting on MLK Day

Submitted by ub on

In honor of Martin Luther King Day, we want to express our gratitude for our community of thoughtful readers are supporters.

Dr. Martin Luther King believed in bridges, not walls and respected those who disagreed with him, while still taking a stand for nonviolence and racial justice. With the constant polarization in our nation today, his message is a great reminder to hope for something different and to speak out.
