Why does our national security appear to be in danger? How come are our nation's secrets are being shared with people who have not been vetted and issued a permanent security clearance? It is a national disgrace.

A security clearance is a status granted to individuals allowing them access to classified information, whether it be state or organizational secrets or to restricted areas, after completion of a thorough FBI background check.

The whole world will be watching Cleveland this week to learn how the 2016 Republican National Convention pole bearers plan to solve our growing national dilemmas, instead of continuing their divisive anti-civil rights record.

As the Republican National Convention gets underway in Cleveland this day, with political stars which may have gone too far, the school yard name calling and the mudslinging should stop to explain how TRUPENCE plans to improve the US.

PRIVACY vs SECURITY

Encryption might enable absolute privacy but national security must be allowed to prevail. The problem lies in our government's definition of national security. However, access to private information is essential to keeping citizens safe.

In fact, there are cases where the authorities should be able to access encrypted data, like the California case which developed between Apple and the FBI over the San Bernardino shooting suspect's smartphone messages.

This a high-level diplomatic process that started and will end during his watch. However, Russia will be a no-show as it protests U.S.-led sanctions over the Ukraine conflict.

When women rule the world, it will probably be a kinder, gentler place to live in. Wake up, world, the greater gender is already the clear majority.

Not only in politics, but in math and science, and it now turns out male teachers have been outnumbered inside the classroom.

That glass ceiling everyone talks about is going to be dismantled and reassembled as a retractable skylight, presumably so our female bosses can have their herb garden with better northern exposure.

80 years ago today, back in 1935, US Congress passed the Social Security Act and President Franklin D. Roosevelt immediately signed it into law.

Provides for federal contributions of up to $15 a month a person, starting soon, to help states pension their most needy aged residents.

Establishes a great national annuity system by which an estimated 25,000,000 workers and their employers will be taxed billions of dollars through the years, and workers will be paid $10 to $85 a month by the government when they are 65 and jobless.

Homeland Security

The Department of Homeland Security debacle points to many more years of government gridlock, unless all Americans get mad as hell and threaten the representatives who work for US.

US Congress it out of control and voters need to put pressure of their elected representatives. The recent Homeland Security shutdown scares over immigration reform, by GOP refusing to fund the federal program established to protect the American people have pointed to a lack of planning.

AMERICAS MAYOR STRIKES OUT

Regardless of what you think and how you feel about the way US President is doing his job, does not allow one to distort the facts. There is a difference between news and views, or facts and opinions.

US President B. Obama was duly elected by a majority of American voters. On the other hand, the term Americas Mayor was never conferred upon R. Giuliani following any election.

It appears to some that the tittle has gone to his head, as he continues to say horrible things bbout Obama
