The Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) has reported a resurgence of brown sharks in Long Island Sound.

Spotted on Long Island Sound DEEP “Once on the decline two decades ago, these sharks are now making a notable comeback.”

According to local reports, Captain Mike Roy, who operates Reel Cast Charters observed this shift firsthand.
