Fight Truth Decay

Americans need to know the whole truth and nothing but, so help us, God. Why do we allow this to continue?

Why did Donald Trump move on from liers Roy Cohn to Michael Cohen as his attorney and fixers?

How did POTUS get here? It was Roy Marcus Cohn a gay-hating homosexual, and Jew-hater? Was he the presence of evil?

Social media platforms are growing in numbers and, with the increased use of mobile devices, they are likely to reach 3 billion users. Therefore, it is time to deal with online terrorism causing Internet chaos in all its evil forms.

The top platforms aren’t the only places considering how to handle violent extremism. And traditional moderation doesn’t affect smaller sites where some promote videos or praise shooters.

1. CONTENT CURATION
Content Curation is the process social media sites use to gather and present content (articles, links, videos, images, etc.) that are relevant to a specific topic or a user’s area of interest. Always Check It Out ub

False information spreads like wildfire across social networks, particularly during primaries, midterm, and general elections.

I learned a long time ago never to believe everything you're told or read until I become engaged in checking all facts. I reject terms like fake news, witch hunt, the enemy of the people.

Never has it been easier than now to do just that. This is the reason I emphasize to all my students to become involved in an exhaustive fact-checking process. Everyone should be doubling down on facts.

Truth and justice is The American Way. This has always been a great nation and it will continue to be one, no matter if anyone else sees it differently. We must never allow our great future to rush in a daze.

Americans are better than this. We should stop paying attention to bogus tweets, fake news, false statements, or made up statistics which are dividing friends and families as well as attracting the ire from our closest allies.

These are the possibilities. Folks are spreading deliberate lies, or are morons with no idea what they're saying.

An Oxford University Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism research finds that when it comes to news, young people prefer social media over TV.

The report found that 28 percent of adults aged 18 to 24 use social media as their main source of news, compared to 24 percent for TV.

This is the first time social media has overtaken TV in the Reuters Institute’s report history, which has been conducted yearly since 2011.

About half or 44 percent say they used Facebook for news. The runner-up was YouTube, at only 19 percent.
